📢📢. Nationwide Trends Meet NJ Reality 👀
Bidding wars are losing steam across the U.S.—only 18% of April homes sold over asking, down from 27% a year ago. The average listing drew 2.4 offers, not the 3+ we saw last spring.
Here in some parts of New Jersey, we’re seeing the same cooling trend. Multiple offers still happen, but buyers have a little more room to negotiate, and sellers need to price strategically from day one.
What it means:
• Buyers: You might finally catch a breather
• Sellers: Smart pricing is key in today’s shifting market
• Both: Low inventory keeps things competitive—but it’s not the frenzy of 2023
Let’s talk about what this means for you and your moving plans!
